A secured movement is a watchmaking innovation designed to protect delicate mechanisms and ensure lasting precision. By preventing accidental damage when setting the watch, it enhances reliability over time. At Blancpain, secured movements are a hallmark of our craftsmanship. In horology, a date complication refers to a feature on a watch that displays the current date. This is one of the most common and practical complications found in wristwatches. The date is typically shown through a small window or aperture on the dial.
